I've got some information about my client on their Asset-Map.

  • Either they have provided their information using Discovery online fact-finder;

  • Or I have added financials manually to their map;

  • Or I have imported some financials from an integration.

What's next?

How?

⏲️ How long does it take?*

Convert a completed or closed Discovery interview into a household.

Navigate to the Discovery administration page by clicking your likeness in the upper right area and selecting Discovery from the platform menu.

Press "+" (create household icon) on the Discovery admin page adjacent to the completed interview.

Under a minute.

Open and assess the Discovery client data report. Decide to save the report for future reference.

Navigate to the Discovery administration page by clicking your likeness in the upper right area and selecting Discovery from the platform menu.

  • Click the page icon adjacent to the completed interview.

  • Did they type any special requests in the "Client Comments" field, which is on the last page of the report?

Two minutes.

Assess the Asset-Map Report.

  • Consider applying a stencil such as the GenX stencil or the Integrations stencil.

  • Delete stencil tiles you don't need.

  • Save stencils tiles that would prompt a good conversation.

  • Get your questions ready. What questions would you ask the client about the financials on their map? Here is a good list to start.

  • What opportunities do you see? (Interpret an Asset-Map Report)

Up to half an hour.

Ask for more information.

"Help me fix and fill your map."

Here some options to consider if permitted by your organization:

  • Email a copy of their map asking for changes needed prior to your meeting with them.

  • Send them a hard copy using the postal service and a self-addressed stamped return envelope.

Option 1: Client Portal

Option 2: Send them a copy. Learn about email templates here: Client Correspondences

Schedule the client meeting.

Will it be virtual or in person? Send your invitation or make the call.
