Overview

I've got some information about my client on their Asset-Map. I partly made their map using one of these methods:

  • The client's Discovery has closed or is completed and they have provided some of their information. What do I do post-Discovery?

  • I have added financials manually to their map. What's next?

  • I have imported some financials from an integration. What do I do now?

⏲️ How long does it take?*

Convert a completed or closed Discovery interview into a household.

Navigate to the Discovery administration page by clicking your likeness in the upper right area and selecting Discovery from the platform menu.

Press "+" (create household icon) on the Discovery admin page adjacent to the completed interview.

Under a minute.

Open and assess the Discovery client data report. Decide to save the report for future reference.

Navigate to the Discovery administration page by clicking your likeness in the upper right area and selecting Discovery from the platform menu.

  • Click the page icon adjacent to the completed interview.

Two minutes.

Assess the Asset-Map Report.

  • Consider applying a stencil such as the GenX stencil or the Integrations stencil.

  • Delete stencil tiles you don't need.

  • Save stencils tiles that would prompt a good conversation.

  • Get your questions ready. What questions would you ask the client about the financials on their map? Here is a good list to start.

  • What opportunities do you see? (Interpret an Asset-Map Report)

Up to half an hour.

Ask for more information.

"Help me fix and fill your map."

Here some options to consider if permitted by your organization:

  • Invite the client to view their map on their Client Portal.

  • Email a copy of their map asking for changes needed prior to your meeting with them.

  • Send them a hard copy using the postal service and a self-addressed stamped return envelope.

Option 1: Client Portal

Option 2: Send them a copy. Learn about email templates here: Client Correspondences
