Overview
There is currently no manual shortcut to creating a duplicate/copy/clone Household and Asset-Map. Using Drafts could likely be the best alternative.
Available Options Depending on Purpose
What's the purpose of making a copy of an Asset-Map/Household?
Is it merging two households? Please check out this resource: Merge Households
Options for making one map from two households.
Is it showing a before/after snapshot to the client? Please reference: Before and After Asset-Maps Using Hide & Unhide
A method to show two scenarios of a map
Do you want to envision changes to the Asset-Map without making direct changes to the Asset-Map? Please consider: Drafts

Create a Copy of a Household
Below are steps to create a new Household with the same financials:
Open the household from the Household Index to view the Household Summary page.
Click "Edit" next to household name to access the Household Information page.
Change the Status from Client, Prospect or Sample to STENCIL. Click "Save Household". This allows the household to be used in the Stencil Application tool.
Manually create a new Household (click house icon in top left, then "Add Household").
Select Sample, Client or Prospect as the status from the drop menu.
Name this household appropriately as you see fit: "Johnson Copy" or "Johnson Proposed".
Enter the Members' information to mimic the original, especially maintaining the relationships of each member (Primary, Dependent, Partner, etc).
Click "Add Household" button to save the new household.
Once saved, apply a Stencil from the Actions menu. The Actions menu can be found by clicking the colored "plus" icon at the top of the left household menu or right Sidebar. Click the "Stencils" option.
Search for the original household name in your "My Stencils" library. Your stencil will not be in the Public Library.
Select it and click Apply Stencil.
The tiles applied will be grey place holders that you can edit, save or delete as needed.
Final step: Remember to change the original household status from "stencil" back to "client" by opening the original household, access the household information page, and clicking the Client button. Click Save Household to remove it as an option from the Stencil Application tool's My Stencils library.
