Overview
Milestones in Asset-Map allow you to label client journey stages or track important interactions and advice delivered to your clients and prospects. Milestones can be customized according to your firm's processes for an Elite tier subscriber.
Practice Management Tip You can use the Household Index view to filter by "Milestone" and "Last Milestone." This helps you quickly identify which households require attention across your entire book of business. How to Manage Milestones
By default a selection box provides two choices common to household engagements. This can be customized for Elite subscribers with up to seven custom milestones. Submit your milestones request to support@asset-map.com. One cannot delete a milestone or manually edit a milestone.
Choose the Milestone
The advisor elects to manually assign a milestone to the household on the Milestones tile found on the Household Summary page.
Access the Household summary page: click the household name link in the upper left area.
Open the Assign Milestone Interface: On the Milestones panel, use the Actions menu (three dots). Click "Assign Milestone" to open your Milestones list.
Select Milestone: Click the desired milestone or close the milestone interface.
The list of Milestones can be customized with up to 7 choices for Elite tier users. Explore upgrading your subscription now.

Milestones History
Check the history of your Milestones choices by viewing the Household's Summary page, Milestone panel. History is visible for the prior five assignments within 30 days or the most recent assignment if over thirty days.

Customizable Configurations
We understand that every firm has unique workflows. Your specific Milestones may be customized to fit your organization here is a starter list:
Initial Meeting: Marks the early stages of engaging a prospect with Asset-Map.
Strategy Meeting: Indicates the client is moving into the planning, strategy consideration, or implementation phase.
Client Review: Used for annual check-ins or ad-hoc meetings regarding overall financial well-being.
Other: Captures important interactions that do not fit into the standard categories above.
A few more examples might help stimulate some ideas for you:
Client Life Cycle: First meeting, Planning meeting, Continuation meeting...

Life events: Marriage, New child, First home, Divorce, Deceased Parent, Retirement pending...
Unlimited Milestones history tracking
The prior five assignments are listed on the Summary page's Milestones panel.
A separate Household Milestones page listing all Milestones assigned over time with filtering ability and report generation capability.
This is accessible from the Summary page on the Milestone's panel, Actions icon (three dots).
Milestones Comments field: Type out your important ideas and thoughts. Comments are included on the electronic report. Select a desired Milestone from the picklist menu and type optional comments.
Milestones Tracking in the Household Index
Milestone Columns
From the "Columns" picklist select the desired Milestone columns to add to your Household Index view. You may save the current Household Index view for future use using the the Household Index Save View functionality.
Milestone Filters
Use the Household Index to filter for milestone parameters.
On the Household Index, open the filter selector by clicking the "Filter" button.
Select ‘Milestone’ and enter a parameter.
If desired, select ‘Last Milestone’ assigned date.
Tip: Use the Save button to save the current Household Index filters and columns for future use.
Milestones Report
Generate a Milestones report: From the Household's Reports center, check the box to include the page in the Client comprehensive report or click the download arrow to produce the report independently.
