Q. Why do I get a Request Denied error when creating a PDF?
A. Pasting text from any other program into Notes includes hidden characters which Notes does not recognize. Paste plain, non-formatted text into Notes and use the Notes formatting Tools provided on the Notes tab of a financial.
Q. Why are my Notes moved to the left side of the page on the PDF, and there is one word per line?
A. This is a known issue that we are working to resolve.
Here is the situation:
On the Notes page you will find Financial instruments with no notes. If an instrument has no notes it should not be on the Notes page.
Here is the solution:
Either click the link to the financial instrument on the Notes page, or go to the Asset-Map and edit the financial in question.
In both cases, head to the Notes tab, click into the Notes text field, and press your backspace key a few times to ensure there are no hidden formatting characters.
You must click UPDATE to save your empty Notes tab.
Take these steps for each financial on the Notes page that has no notes. This will allow you to create a PDF without the formatting issue.
