An asset is highlighted in yellow when:

Assets Under a Different Custodian

Yellow highlighted assets on an Asset-Map have a different custodian than the person designated as the Interested Member. For example: the education asset worth $3000 for household member Barry is controlled by Lauren, his Mother.

The asset is displayed and tabulated on the interested member (Barry). It is also shown in yellow on the custodian (Lauren) and is not added to the dollar value of her assets.

Set the Grantor or Custodian on the Details tab. Click "Update" to save changes.

An feature of Entities is the ability to link financials on an entity to a member. This will display yellow highlighted financials on the member and the dollar value will be tabulated only on the Entity. Note: this could crowd a member's map.

The value of the asset will count towards the worth of the legal entity and not the family member on the Asset-Map Report on the Balance Sheet report.

  • The household net worth Key Financial Figure will include the dollar value of the asset.

  • On the Balance Sheet, the asset will be displayed for the entity custodian in non-bold text. Sub-total and Totals will be displayed in bold text.

  • The household net worth Key Financial Figure will include the dollar value of the asset.
