Overview

Asset-Map Signals™ will help financial professionals diagnose potential financial events that can knock a client off-course from their financial goals and prioritize next best actions to mitigate negative household impacts.

Signals suggests an order of analysis of potentially disruptive financial events with the understanding that the best relationship takes a look at all situations.

Suggested order of investigation and analysis: red x, yellow !, green check:

Most Signals are linked to their associated Target-Map for quick planning.

Signals Defined

The detailed explanation of each Signal is found by clicking the Details link on each panel.

The parameters that define the Signals cannot be changed.

"Comments" Feature in Signals

  • Save comments about a Signal by clicking the Signal's comment icon.

  • The comment icon displays the quantity of comments already saved.

  • Use text formatting tools: Bold, Italics, Underline, Strike-through, Hyperlink, or Delete the text already in the field.

  • Saved Comments are dated. If desired, hover over the date of the comment to reveal a delete icon (trash can).

  • Though comments are saved they are not printable nor part of any report.

Solving Signals

Changing the color of a Signal from yellow or red to green means applying appropriately valued financials on the client Asset-Map. Note: adding funding on a Target-Map alone will not change an Asset-Map nor a Signal.

Snooze Signals

Use the Wake/Snooze button to activate or deactivate a Signal. If desired, select the amount of time the Signal remains snoozed. The Signal remains present but no longer active (gray). The Signals electronic report will display the active or inactive (gray) Signal.

(Please note: some organizations do not provide the option to snooze Signals.)

Signals+ for Elite Plan Subscribers

  • Signals+ for Elite Plan Subscribers provides the added practice management feature of exposing opportunities with your clients. In the Household Index, using the Household Index Layouts option, select "Signals" to reveal just the Signals columns. Examine the priority signals and determine a course of action for your clients.

  • The global option to expose or hide desired Signals is available within the Team Settings pages. This will affect the associated Household Index column.
