Secure your log-in credentials with multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Set up Multi-factor Authentication

  • Select User Preferences from the platform menu found by clicking the advisor's likeness in the upper right area

  • Select "Security"

  • Choose the preferred contact method (email, text on phone, authenticator app)

  • Enter the validation code to complete MFA Authentication

  • Upon additional log-ins to the platform, choose to allow authentication for 30 days to remove subsequent validation requests for 30 days

Authenticator App Method

Scan the QR code or reveal the secret key to enter into your authenticator application. Enter the 6-digit code provided by your app. Using the authenticator application method disables all other multi-factor methods.

Additional Features

  • Choose to allow authentication to last for 30 days for a device if desired

  • Multiple devices may use MFA

  • Devices may be added and removed on the device manager on the Security page

  • All log-in types (advisor, delegate, team manager, billing manager) may be required to use MFA

  • Change authentication email address or phone number as desired

  • For convenience, the user's email address or phone number populates the preferred communication field
