The Relationships page serves as a report and a tool to add, edit, and remove members of the household. The Relationships page can be accessed by clicking the Relationships option on the Household's expandable menu.

What are Members?

The Household Members & Entities table provides helpful information at a glance about the human and entity components added to the Household. Some are directly visible on the Household, others are displayed only on the Relationships page if not desired on the map. The table displays the following columns:

  • Relationship

  • First and Last name

  • Gender

  • Date of Birth (estimated designated by italicized date and an "e", or verified in normal text)

  • Age

  • Edit icon (pencil)

  • Delete icon (trash can)

Member data may be edited by clicking on the Relationship name or the Edit icon (pencil). New Members can be added by clicking the New Member button and completing the relevant form fields.

Legal Entities

The Legal Entities table provides a list of the following details:

  • Category

  • Legal name

  • Linked members (used if assets on the entity should also be reflected on the linked member's Asset-Map)

  • Edit icon (pencil)

  • Delete icon (trash can)

Entity data may be edited by clicking on the Category name or the Edit icon.

New Entities may be added to the Asset-Map by clicking the New Entity button and completing the relevant form fields.

Other Members and Entities

Add personal and professional relationships and other entities that are not deemed appropriate to be on the Asset-Map but worth documenting for the Household. Example professional relationships could include but are not limited to, Financial Planner, CPA and Attorney. Example personal relationships could include but are not limited to, friends and family members designated as executor but are not otherwise directly associated with the financials of the household at the time.

  • Relationships in this section cannot be assigned financials

  • Relationships can be added to the Asset-Map by clicking the "Include in My Household" checkbox.

  • Conversely, current map members can be removed from the map but retained in the Household by unchecking the "Include in My Household" checkbox. This will unassign any attached financials. Unassigned financials can be reassigned from the Financials page.

Relationships Maps

Create and display the personal, financial and other types of relationships in a map using the Map View icon. Please find more information on this feature πŸ‘‰ here.
