How to Apply a Stencil to Members of a Household
To apply a stencil, start by navigating to the Asset-Map page for the household.
Select from two convenient ways to open the Apply Stencil tool:
Click the Asset-Map Tools Menu and Actions menu. Click Apply Stencil.
Right-click (Command-click) on the Asset-Map web page and select Apply Stencil.
From the Apply Stencil manager, open the desired library of stencils.
Use the dropdown menu to select your desired stencil.
The preview icon allows you to see the tiles that will be applied.
The "+" icon copies the stencil into your Household Index so you can edit and retain your own copy.
Next, decide to apply the stencil to the entire household or not. If No is selected, choose when stencil member tiles are applied to the household member using the dropdown options.
Click Apply Stencil.

Selecting the "No" radio button extends the interface to reveal a way to apply part of a stencil to a member of the household.
Select a specific member of the Stencil from the left dropdown list whose financials will be applied.
Then select the specified household member you wish to apply the stencil financials to from the right drop-down menu.
Click Apply Stencil.
In these cases, take note of joint accounts that have been divided and correct them as necessary. They will have "JT" within the financial tiles. Edit the financial and change the Interested Member's ownership percentage.
How to Clear Stencil Tiles
Select Clear Stencil from the Tools menu or right-click (command-click) menu on the Asset-Map report. This will remove all unsaved stencil tiles. Stencil tiles that have been saved (colorized) will not be removed.
Note: Discovery Interview places stencil tiles representing client concerns that the client has selected during the questionnaire. Take care to ensure those are saved before clearing an entire stencil. Any financial tile can be deleted individually by clicking the tile and clicking the trash can icon.
