Import client data from Wealthbox into Asset-Map to create an Asset-Map Household. Then apply a group of financial place holders by using Stencils or individual financials to create the client's map.
Note: account and financial data are not imported.
Navigate to your Integrations pane within the Asset Map Platform by click the "Enable Integrations" button or from the platform menu found under your advisor name.
Select Wealthbox from the integration listings.
Enter your Wealthbox credentials and select “Link Wealthbox Account” to complete the process.
Import a Wealthbox Client to Make an Asset-Map Household
After enabling the Wealthbox integration search your Wealthbox database to import Wealthbox contacts as household members into Asset-Map.
Search for your desired Contact to import from Wealthbox and click “Import”.
After clicking “Import” you can choose between importing all contacts in the Wealthbox household record, or choose one contact that is associated.
Once you make a selection of one or all contacts , you will see the option to view the newly imported Asset Map.
After clicking “VIEW” your newly generated Household and Asset Map will appear.
Import a Wealthbox Contact Within an Established Household
It is also possible to link a client’s information that is currently in Wealthbox with one or multiple previously existing Household Members.
To link previously existing Household Members, navigate to the Household Summary.
In the Integrations pane, click on Wealthbox.
Search for the previously existing Household Member in the Weathbox search bar within the Household.
Once the desired Household Member is located in the search, from the Import To drop-down list, select the Household Member you would like to link the information from Weathbox to in Asset Map.
After selecting the appropriate Household Member from the Import To drop down list click Import to link the information from Wealthbox to the Household Member. Once the Household Member is successfully linked, they will show up as a linked member on the Wealthbox integration screen within their Household.
Unlink from Wealthbox
With the ability to import Contacts from Wealthbox to Asset Map there are slight differences between how linked members are deleted or unlinked. If a Wealthbox contact is individually (Import One) linked, simply clicking the “unlink” button shown below will successfully unlink the desired household member.
If a Wealthbox contact is linked using the Entire Household (Import All) the Contact will be need to be moved from the Wealthbox household or deleted from Wealthbox and the Household will need to be synced again within Asset Map. If the Household Member is deleted but the Contact is not moved or deleted in Wealthbox, upon the next Household sync in Asset Map the previously deleted Household Member will be imported to the Household again.
As a reminder, when a user attempts to unlink a member that was imported using the Import All feature, they will be prompted with a notice that the member they are attempting to unlink is/was part of an Import All Household. Therefore the Member/Contact must be moved or deleted in Wealthbox first followed by syncing the Household within Asset Map.
Click the imported member to view their edit window. Select the Wealthbox tab to view information about the client.
The Wealthbox Contact can also be accessed directly from within the Wealthbox tab.
