Click the toggle menu on the right side ("View/Hide" menu).
Click "Add Insurance" to show the "Add Insurance" edit window.

As with all financial edit windows, fields with red titles are required fields. Fill in optional information as needed. Enter the type, who it is for, what it is, where it is, and how much it is.

Types of Insurance

Select the "Insurance Type". There are 6 options to choose from.

Some fields on the form change depending on the Insurance type.

Take note of Age/Date drop-down options anywhere within any Asset-Map edit window, and Benefit Interval drop-down option on Long Term Care. You have the opportunity to estimate an age or get specific with a date.

Details Tab

Take time to fill out the Details tab, too. Assign a Beneficiary, and check the Future Value box if the benefit amount reflects a known future value, among other details.

Cash Value

Whole, Universal, and Variable Types reveal a Cash Value field.
Cash Value may be assigned to a member of the household as an asset marked with a "CV", by choosing a member from the Policy Owner field on the Essentials tab.

*Note: the cash value will be an asset that is shown on an Asset-Map and is available on a Target-Map only if it is assigned a member.

Enter optional details about this financial on the Details and Notes tabs.

Use the tools bar at the bottom of the window to delete, hide the financial, add another liability, save changes or cancel without saving changes.
