Target-Maps intend to compare the present value of desired spending with present value equivalents of spendable funding sources. This makes communicating plan funding transparent, quick and easy for quick decision-making.

Verify current funding sources or make custom assets and cash flows available for funding.

Edit Selected Funding Sources

Edit the Target-Map

Click the 2. What you have tab

Click the edit icon for each line item (or the Description) and adjust as desired.

Make changes to the following:

  • Loss to tax

  • COLA

  • Start of cash flow

  • End of cash flow

  • Dollar value

  • Member linked

Adding Custom Funding Sources

Click the "Add custom cash-flow" or "Add custom asset" button on the "What you have" tab in a Target-Map. This will not affect the client's Asset-Map.

This works well for running scenarios (Target-Map clones).

  1. Click the Target-Map title to edit a Target-Map

  2. Click the "What you have" tab

  3. Click either "Add custom cash-flow" or "Add custom asset" button

  4. or click the edit icon for any line item to modify its parameters

Click the trash can icon to remove the added item.
