Support Center Documentation

The support center is a comprehensive, searchable list of resources to help you use Asset-Map. Click the support icon in the upper right area, then Search for help to search for specific topics in our support center.

Using our Interactive Support AI

Asset-Map Platform employs the use of an interactive in-app chat AI to provide answers to many support questions.

To start a chat click the support icon in the upper right area and select Send us a message. In the next window, use the text field to ask your question. Please take note of our live human support hours (8:30 am to 7 pm, ET Monday through Friday), as well as any other important announcements.

Types of Queries Supported

  • You can ask technical questions about the platform (examples: "How do I...?", "Why is this...?").

  • You can ask to provide insight on topics (example: "What are the best practices for...?").

  • You can ask to generate content (example: "Write for me...").

Limitations

  • While the AI is interactive, it is limited by the knowledge from the support resources provided to it.

  • As our support sources are refined and grow, so does its knowledge base and responses.

  • Therefore, the chatbot may need to ask more questions from you or simply escalate your query to a human during business hours.

  • The AI may give inaccurate or incomplete information depending on the questions its been given. Please check for accuracy.

  • The AI in no way offers legal or financial advice and no dialog should be considered as containing legal or financial advice.

Availability and Human Support

The in-app chat is available 24 hours a day. You can always ask for a human to chat with you during normal business hours, 8:30AM to 7:00PM ET, U.S., M-F. Just type "human" and your request will be escalated to a live Support representative during business hours.

Guidelines for Effective Queries

To get the best responses, include some specifics with your questions. Include details like:

  • What you were specifically doing when something happened or didn't happen (example: "I clicked the Update button and...").

  • What you are attempting to achieve (example: "How do I add a RMD to the Asset-Map?").

  • Where you are working within the platform (example: "I'm in the Household Index and...").

  • Ask for an explanation: "Give me specifics on...", "define what... means," "I need more information about..."

Utilizing Formatting

  • Ask the chatbot to use bullet points (example: "Use bullet points to describe how to...").

  • Ask Fin to use paragraph or topic headings.
