It is possible for an advisor to start a Discovery Interview on behalf of the client to fill in client information which the advisor already knows, then sending the household's link to the client to complete.

  1. Use the Outbound link to enter the client's name and click Initiate Interview.

  2. Use Launch Now to start the survey.

  3. Enter the member information and the financial information as if you were the client.

  4. Do not complete the survey. Rather simply close the brower window when you have entered the information you know.

  5. Click the Send Discovery link and click Copy Link to copy the Discovery link to your clipboard.

  6. Paste it in an email you send to the client.

Suggested text could include:

"Thanks for desiring to have a visual inventory of your financial situation!..." or

"I've taken the liberty of creating a visual inventory of your financial decisions. I've already entered the information about you that I know. Please click the link below to complete your inventory. [Paste the link and include text that prompts the user to fill out more...] We are only looking for high level information but include as much as you can. Use the navigation buttons at the bottom of each page to ensure you don't miss any information you'd like to share before you hit the complete button at the end of the survey. I'll follow up in a couple of days. Looking forward to meeting with you!"

The above text is an example. Please ensure your communications are compliant with your organization.

By clicking the link the survey will open for the client where you left off. You will be notified by Asset-Map when the client has completed their interview or if the interview was automatically closed after the 14 day security time limit.
