The Hide/Show feature in Asset-Map allows you to quickly hide and unhide financial instruments on the Financials tab screen and Asset-Map Report screen. This gives you more flexibility and control over what assets are displayed and included in financial calculations and reports.
Important Note: Once a financial instrument is hidden, it is no longer available for use throughout Asset-Map, unless it is unhidden. A hidden financial is not included in Target-Maps, Reports, Key Financial Figures, etc.
How to hide a financial instrument from the edit modal:
- Make a Financial (an asset, income, insurance, etc.)
- Click on the financial from the Financials tab screen or Asset-Map screen to open the Edit Modal.
- Click on the Hide/Show icon on the bottom left of the modal to hide or show the financial.
- Click ‘Save Changes’.
How to Reveal a Hidden Financial Instrument on the Asset-Map
- Click on ‘View Menu’ on the top-right of the screen.
- Select ‘Reveal Hidden’ to toggle the Hide/Show feature.
- All hidden financials will display on the Asset-Map screen.
How to Reveal a Hidden Financial Instrument on the Financial Tab
To view a hidden financial from the Financials screen:
- Click on ‘View Menu’ on the top-right of the screen.
- Select ‘Reveal Hidden’ to toggle the Hide/Show feature.
- All hidden financials will display on the Financials screen.
- Select the icon to the far left of the financial to hide or show the financial.
