Questions and Answers
Q. How does Quin join my meetings?
A. You can connect Quin to your calendar in the Integrations section so the Quin notetaker joins your meetings automatically. This can be turned off for specific meetings in the Meeting Notes section of Quin.
You can also choose to add Quin to meetings on a case by case basis. On the Meeting Notes page in Quin, click “Start Notetaker” and select the In-person or Video Call option depending on how you’re holding your meeting. If you click Video Call, enter your meeting link and then Quin will join the meeting.
Q. What happens once a meeting concludes?
A. Quin will produce meeting notes and will automatically push any discussed updates to financial instruments and household members to Asset-Map. Quin will send an email with a meeting recap and list of what was updated in Asset-Map.
Q: The updates were not sent to the household. What happened to them?
A. If you have multiple households with the same household name and members, Quin will automatically update the household that was created first. Check to see if you have multiple households under the same name.
Q. How do I change back information that was incorrectly edited?
A. If you have a recent PDF with the client's information available, you could manually edit the tiles to make corrections. There is no means to undo a change unless a financial was deleted. You may restore deleted financials.
Q. Can Quin create new Asset-Map Households?
A. No, Quin can only update and add members and financials to existing households.
Q. Why weren’t any meeting notes created?
A. Quin must be in a meeting for more than 5 minutes to produce meeting notes.
